History

In 1995 Mark Rusden took a leap of faith and rented an office in Feasterville of Bucks County to start his own company. After completing his apprenticeship for the Local Union # 98 and working 9 years as a journeyman, he was ready to be his own boss. It was a tough several years; wearing many hats to build the company from the ground up and maintain a steady cash flow, going as far as storing materials in his home garage. Slowly but surely he progressed and moved into a larger office where he was able to assemble his team. As the team grew, the company became stronger. This was apparent to local general contractors who put trust in Anmar and awarded them work. Today, Anmar has matured into a leading electrical contractor of the Philadelphia region. It staffs an experienced team of 7 in its 20,000 square foot office/warehouse in Warminster, PA. The team members have mastered the equation to working together and taking advantage of each person’s unique skills to achieve success in the workplace. The office team works hand in hand with its electricians in the field to produce excellent work for its customers. Anmar is built from old fashioned hard work and valued relationships, which is the reason it has seen so much success for over 20 years. Mark is proud that Anmar is continuing to grow and is now a second generation family owned and managed business.

“I’ve been working with Anmar Corporation on large projects in Philadelphia since 2003. I found their staff to be very professional and knowledgeable. Construction projects can typically have unforeseen problems that come up that cause delays. Anmar and their staff are easy to work with when these problems arise. They really explore many options to help resolve issues to keep the project on schedule. I’ve worked with many electrical contractors over my 30 year career and I would definitely recommend Anmar Corporation for any electrical construction project.”
