Project Description

Project Name: University of Pennsylvania Golkin Hall Law School
General Contractor: Hunter Roberts Construction Group
Owner: University of Pennsylvania

The Golkin Law School project started with the demolition of the existing Pepper Hall building, to make way for the new 36,000 square foot, 3-story faculty, administrative, and classroom wing, with flexible space for future expansion and informal meeting spaces. The project was targeted to meet a fast-track schedule, signify a forward looking design, and maintain “green” sustainable principles. This project had an extremely challenging electrical sequence which required Pepper Hall to be dismantled within a two month time frame. Anmar was successful in meeting the accelerated construction schedule and The University of Pennsylvania now has one of the first LEED Certifiable law schools in the U.S.
